Perhaps no man is more articulate than one who can give directions without taking his hands out of his pocket. - Franklin P. Jones
Language is so subtle and complicated, an instrument that we often lose sight of the multiplicity of its uses. But there is real danger in our tendency to over simplify. Those who take too narrow a view of the legitimate uses of language finds words constantly being wasted. This justifies in our different experiences of the world social functions, ordinary conversation, friendly greetings and the like. However, language is the greatest invention of man.
Without language, there is no understanding, proper conversation and communication, no development in technology and most especially there is no unity and prosperity of human being.
