In the sphere of man's relationship with others, God and the world, he has to wrestle with elements such as his limitations in a multitude of ways and on one hand his feeling of boundless in desires and summons to a higher life. More often than not, he does what he should not does not do what he should.
We have dreams and aspirations which they can't take away from us. We have a vision of a better world- a better place to live in where there is respect of every person's dignity.
We should be liberated from any constraints and unjust oppressors. We should not be hindered from our development in accordance with our culture and way of life. We should be liberally and reciprocally become the principal architect of our own social developments. We should be able to cooperate and socially involve for the attainment of the common good on an equal footing with other people.

Responding to Climate Change
" Once you damage the environment, it will take a long period to recover. " ~ Dalai Lama, Tibet's exiled spiritual leader.
One of the reason why we are now experiencing climate change is because we are not taking good care of our environment. We continue to do such things that can damage it. Birds cry for they are doomed to die. The Asian Development Bank reports that the Philippines has the worst record of forest preservation. About 97 percent of its forests have been logged; and more than 50 percent of which is believed to have been burnt and cleared through illegal logging.
What would become of humanity now? Doesn't a forest of trees breathes in carbon dioxide and breathes out oxygen humans need to live? If trees didn't breathe, could humans do? They could. But not for long.
With our awakened consciousness and concerted efforts, we can help boost Mother Nature back to her grandeur and splendor. We are one people, one planet, one earth... We must remember that we are much closer to each other.

Reflection: 2nd Grading Period
It brings people together in local and global communities where the diversity of cultures and ideas can be celebrated. Using tags and blogger.com it was easier for me to gain knowledge. It might help us bring about unity, faster dialogue and be a source of empowerment for all who use this kind of communication. It helps us to reach those who are far away bringing the message of hope and new life.
With this new technology, I learn the lesson of life itself and that I may live not only for myself but for others. I learn to give my best in whatever I do. I learn to manage my time well- to balance "study and play."

Unsung Heroes
"The dream begins with a teacher who believes in you. ~ Dan Rather "
Everyone has been inspired by a great teacher. They don't just teach us or even writes in the board and let us students copy, they transform lives.
I am a fourth year student. For almost 12 years of studying, I met a number of teachers with different characteristics, but still I salute all of them. I know teaching wasn't easy, you have to accept and be one with your students who have different personalities. For them, what's important is their students. They give us information that we need- things that are connected in the real world, outside the four corners of the classroom.
Whenever it's Teacher's Day, I always remember all my teachers that taught and inspired me. I always remember Ms. Mary Ann Paje, one of the greatest teachers I met. She was our class adviser when I was in Second Year High School. Yes, she was strict but after being with her in a few months, I learned that she only cares about all of her students and wants us to do our best. I know that she is trying to prepare us for Third Year and for the rest of our lives. I considered her as my hero because she has been a good/ wonderful influence so far.
Teachers who really believes in you open our eyes to the world and provide us with the knowledge necessary to succeed. They affects eternity and no one can tell where their influence stops.

FAMtastic
All of us wants to go anywhere- tour around the world, but behind it, we have reasons why we want to go to that place and often times what we want to do is influenced by our inspiration.
Everyday, I get inspired to go to school, inspired to study so that I will succeed. These are all because of my family. They are my hero that is why I want to repay them by being a good sister and a good daughter. I considered them as my Modern Day Hero because they serve as my energy and good model everyday. They serve as my guiding star in order to reach my goal/ mission in life. Because of them, I am still here. I am what I am now. My parents always work hard to be able for me and my sister to have a good life. They sustain our needs. They always let me feel how much they love me, and I am thankful for that. My sister always understand me, she helps me, always there for me- in sorrow and in happiness. We are only two, and I really love her.
I do love my family that's why I tried my best to please them, because my family is my treasure.

P-Noy's SONA ( 2011 )
The President's SONA is often a hyped event and media- driven. It does not make it false when there is a deliberate attempt to focus attention on one speech, year after year, every last Monday of July in the same plenary hall of Congress.
President Benigno " Noynoy" Aquino used his anti- wang- wang policy as the focal point of his State of the Nation Address. He said that this has become the symbol of change, not just in our streets, but even in our social mindset. P- Noy then recounted some of the Administration's triumphs. Just like the self- rated hunger went down 5.4 percent, increasing energy investors, metric tons in just a year and generating 1.4 million jobs in 2010. In his 53- minute speech, P- Noy also reiterated the corrupt officials, he said that he does take the fight against corruption personally, as should every Filipino. Because of these things happening, he appointed former Supreme Court Justice Conchita Carpio- Morales as the new Ombudsman. He ended his SONA by encouraging Filipino's to put a stop to negativism and crab mentality.
The President's SONA is really unique because he delivered it through Filipino language. But still, many were disappointed because he didn't say something about the laborers, about the things that every Filipino wanted to hear. They said that there are things that are more important, that he must prioritize first.

"Isulong ang Breastfeeding: Tama,Sapat at Eksklusibo"
"People need to understand that when they're deciding breast milk and formula, they're not deciding between Coke and Pepsi... They're choosing between a live, pure substance and a dead substance made with the cheapest oils available." ~Chele Marmet
Being a mother means, start of having a very big responsibility as a girl. In every drop of milk, it contains the love and care a mother has for her baby. Actually, it is really important to breastfeed babies because breast milk has a complete sugar, water, protein and many others that are needed for babies body and health. As a result, breastfeed babies grow exactly in a way you want them to be. Breastfeeding is also important for mothers because it has many benefits. Mothers who breastfeed their babies have a lower chance to get breast and ovarian cancers. Breast milk is also the least expensive way to feed an infant. However, the mother must maintain good nutrition and continue taking any vitamin/ mineral supplements her doctor recommended during pregnancy.
The experience of breastfeeding is special for so many reasons- the joyful bonding with your baby, the cost savings, and the health benefits for both mother and baby.
So mommies out there, continue breastfeeding your babies for it is a gift that lasts a lifetime.

A Message for Mr. President
President Benigno Simeon C. Aquino III,
I am a Filipino. Staying here for almost 16 years, I can say that Philippines is really a beautiful country. But of course we cannot really avoid those crimes happening here. Poverty, economic problems/crisis that are putting our beloved country down because even though how good a president is- how good you are, there are those people who doesn't want to help and sad to say, they are also the one who are only good in criticizing, judging, and saying things that will put you down. But,cheer up Mr. President. I know you are strong; strong enough to face whatever challenges that may come along the way. Prove us that you can lead. Show us that you deserve to be our president-- the president of the Republic of the Philippines. I know that you served based on what you think was for the common good of your people, that I salute you for, and I hope you continue such service.
